Import and Export Solutions
Due to our initial exposure within our core business of cross border transportation we found opportunities of demand for various products manufactured within the country throughout the SADC region. We then ventured into new business unit which specifically deals with import and export of various goods manufactured in Zimbabwe and SADC region. We utilize our synergies and vast experience in transporting in the region.
Transportation solutions
Nielsson Freight strives to become a leader in trusted transportation solutions. As a multi-service provider, we offer a wide range of services that include, line haul, multi-modal specific services, primary and secondary transport. We help our customers manage a critical part of their supply chain by providing an efficient transport service. Through our high tech track and trace systems, we keep a close eye on cargo and when it comes to cross-border transportation; our regional footprint gives customers the edge. We also offer bulk value added solutions and dedicated contract transportation, and operate national and international truckloads (TL) and less-than-truckloads (LTL) via road, rail or intermodal transportation.
Warehousing solutions
Nielsson Freight, through strategic partnerships are able to provide warehousing services in the country. We can deliver flexible warehousing solutions for our customers. Dedicated or shared warehousing services include bondage and container handling. Whether a customer needs to distribute product in bulk or break-bulk, or move product from A to B or direct-to store, we identify the best solution. This makes our service offering flexible and cost effective.
Freight forwarding and clearing
Nielsson Freight is an export, import and transhipment expert, able to offer a comprehensive range of freight forwarding, customs clearance and custom brokerage services by utilising our strategic alliances. Our strategic partners employ advanced administration systems that ensure minimal administrative burden for customers, while delivering real-time information. In addition, we work with customs clearing professionals who not only negotiate with customs on our customers’ behalf, but deliver transparent reporting.
Delivery performance and tracking
To ensure the continued delivery of our high quality and prompt services, the following measures are in place: • Driver performance is continually monitored using modern surveillance techniques and management devices in all vehicles. Details of each trip are recorded and assessed to ensure the safety of the drivers, vehicles and goods transported • Delivery times on all routes are strictly monitored • Our centralised operations office constantly monitors all vehicles to ensure proper fleet management. Our office communicates with our clients on a regular basis. • All trucks are equipped with mobile phones and tracking devices These measures mean that goods arrive safely and on time, and that as a company we are constantly aware of the whereabouts of our vehicles. In addition, we provide our clients with constantly updated and cost effective general stock transport.

A high level of driver training maintains the excellent standard of our fleet.
